Hot and Cold Fusion Hair Extensions

Whether you are looking for length or volume, hairextensions gives you the ability to create your dream hairstyle. Two of the most popular methods used in hair extensions are cold and hot fusion. Though the methods have their differences, both offer the ability to improve your hair texture and body.

  • Hot fusion is a strand method attached at the keratin based tips with a heating element. Hot fusion hair extensions are also known as keratin hair extensions and tip hair extensions. They are applied to your natural hair in small ‘bundles’ with a heated keratin adhesive. Since your hair is already made of 90% keratin (a protein compound,) this method is actually more gentle on hair than regular glue is.
  • Hot fusion hair extensions last anywhere from 2-4 months and take about 2 hours to install. With hot fusion hair extensions you can do a variety of hair styles including up-dos and styling your hair down.

Cold Fusion Hair Extensions:-
  • Cold fusion is also known as micro link, or i-tip.  It is another strand method that is applied by weaving  small sections of hair through a micro link tube. To install you use weaving tools and pliers to weave the small sections of hair.
  • Cold fusion  hair extensions were created to be a gentle alternative than keratin hot fusion hair extensions. Cold fusion hair extensions does not use heat to apply the hair extensions to your hair. This is a no heat hair extensions method that bonds hair via a ultra sound applicator. It is a more updated extensions method that was created to be a lot more gentle on your natural hair than hot fusion.
Conclusion:-
  • Cold fusion extensions will last up to six months. Heat fusion extensions can be expected to last up to four months. Both methods require monthly tightening to avoid damage to your natural hair.

  • Both fusion methods can result in a smooth finished look that is devoid of any bumps that are inherent in the sew-in method of attaching extensions. Using the micro clamps in the Cold Fusion method may help to create a flatter look and feel than that of the Regular or Hot Fusion but that may be in the eyes of the beholder.

Best Options Of Clip-Ons

The largest variety of choices for at-home hairextensions can be had by choosing one (or several) clip on pieces that can be worn and changed on a daily basis. The choices buyers have for clip-on extensions range from simple length to more. Clip-on hair extensions are the best option for people who want to temporarily add length to their natural hair.

A basic clip - on hair extension is used to add both length and body to the hair. Generally sold in long sheets and meant to wrap around the entire back of the head, these extensions use different methods of adhesion. The most basic extensions will use toothed comb clips. Others may use what is known as a skin or hair weft which is a type of tape graded for the scalp or hair.

Ponytail Clip-On
A simpler way to add some volume to hair is through ponytail clip - ons. Generally attached using an alligator clip, headband onto the top of the head, or an already-created ponytail these extensions can add curls or a special style to the hair with minimal need to actually style it.

Clip-on extensions can be put in and removed at any time, while sewn-in and glued-in extensions must be put in and removed by a professional in a time-consuming process. Moreover, clip-on extensions are relatively simple to apply, which makes them more appealing to first-time users.

Buying Hair Extensions? "Learn How Much Hair Volume To Add"

Once women understand the different types of hairextensions and their many methods of application, they can then move on to determining how much hair they actually need to purchase. As a general rule, the average head needs about 100 to 120 strands of hair extensions to complete the process; however, different brands come packaged with different strand amounts, and weft hair is determined differently, which further complicates matters. Overall, the hair amount will depend on a number of things, such as the wearer’s natural hair features, as well as the type of hair she plans to purchase.

Hair Length

Women should first consider their desired hair length when trying to assess how much hair to buy for extensions. Buyers may purchase longer strands of hair, but they should be aware that the longer the strand, the smaller the width, which makes for thin hair. A buyer wishing to purchase longer hair extensions will need more strands than a buyer wishing to purchase shorter ones.

Hair Thickness

Next, women need to consider their own hair’s natural thickness before buying extensions. If the buyer’s hair is thin, she will need to purchase more strands or thicker wefts in order to get their desired look.

Strand or Weft

Lastly, women will need to decide whether they want  single strand or weft hair before deciding how much hair to buy. If they wish to purchase weft hair, they will need to assess its weight, which should average anywhere between 75 to 250 grams, based on hair length. If they wish to purchase single strands, the average is about 100-120 strands per head.

Natural Human Hair Extensions vs. Synthetic Hair Extensions

With such stressed lives that we lead these days, it’s no wonder that many people deal with hair loss and baldness. Luckily, the market offers a great variety of products that can help cope with this illness and recoup self-confidence. Among many lotions and natural remedies, we would like to point out hair extensions as a perfect solution to hair loss. Hair extensions can be either human hair extensions or synthetic ones. Both kinds different from one another in terms of durability and maintenance. But both types of hair extensions are perfect for adding volume to hair and are ideal for people with thinning hair. Hairextensions can completely transform your look in just a few hours.

  • The main advantage of real hair is that it is far easier to look after. There is no need to treat it any differently to your own hair and it looks and feels so natural that even a trained eye cannot tell you are wearing them (when they are expertly applied). When left to dry naturally they dry with the same natural kink/wave that most people's hair dries with, meaning it blends easily without even the need for styling. Another major advantage is that there is no restriction with styling. You can use straightening irons and curling tongs freely which is not the case with synthetic hair. You also have the option of dying the real hair which is not possible with fake hair. For these reasons the celebrities usually opt for the real hair.
  • Because human hair extensions are actual human hair, they have the same shade and texture of natural hair. Real hair extensions can be purchased to completely match and blend with one’s natural hair. Synthetic hair extensions are not real hair and the quality may not be quite what one is used to or expecting. There is a possibility that the extensions will not completely match natural hair in colour or texture.
  • Real hair extensions can be styled in exactly the same manner as one’s own hair, with the same products and styling tools. Real hair extensions can be cared for exactly like natural hair. They can be washed the same way by using mild shampoo, conditioners, and heat protectors can be applied for styling. These hair extensions can be styled and curled like natural hair because they are real hair like one’s own hair. Synthetic hair extensions cannot be styled with the same heated styling tool that are used on real hair extensions. This is because when exposed to heat sources, synthetic hair melts. For instance, one cannot use heated curling irons to curl synthetic hair as the hair will melt. However, they are much easier to style and due to ‘memory technology’ hold a curl for quite a long time. It is possible to wash and condition synthetic hair extensions as one would their own hair, but remember not to blow them dry, but let air dry hair after washing. Detangling sprays can be used on synthetic hair extensions to stop frizz. Skin Weft Tape in Hair Extensions

Best Tips for soft, smooth Hair Extensions

  • A daily spritz of silicone spray products can prolong the life of hair extensions and keep them soft and shiny. This is effective up to a point, however you’ll need to maintain the following good habits to look after your extensions and keep them looking their best.

  • Use products that mimic your hair’s natural oils to keep your extensions moisturised and hydrated. Look out for those that are sulphate free and contain argan oil. Lightweight sprays are best for keeping hair shiny as heavy creams and serums may give your hair an oily appearance.

  • Over washing will dry your extensions out and cause them to deteriorate faster. When washing your hair, always use a conditioner to keep extensions soft and leave them to air dry afterwards.

  • Before styling, be sure to always use a heat protection serum on your extensions. We recommend Goldwell Elxir Leave in Serum as this protects your hair from heat stress caused by blow drying and tongs.

  • If you have clip ins, take them out before you go to sleep as sleeping in your extensions can cause them to matt and tangle. For permanent hair extensions, tie hair in a loose pony tail or wrap your hair in a silk head scarf, as this should reduce the occurrence of nasty knots that will need brushing out.

  • Avoid your hair extensions coming into contact with harsh chemicals, such as bleach or chlorine. It’s advisable not to swim with your hair extensions, although if you must then make sure you wash your hair straight afterwards and use a good quality conditioner.

Difference Between Curly & Wavy Hair Extensions

"Curly hair" and "wavy hair" are often used interchangeably, but the hair types have several differences. Curly types and wavy types of hair differ in curl tightness, thickness and textures.

Although curly hair and wavy hair are thought by many people to be the same, wavy hair is actually a type of curly hair. The three main categories of curly hair are curly, wavy and kinky. Curly hair is often thought of as coarse in texture, but it is actually soft. It also has a reputation for being thick; while that is often true, curly hair also can be fine. Kinky hair is the tightest curl type specific to people of African descent.

Even if curls are fine in texture, curly hair has a thick appearance. The curls often begin at the scalp and keep their shape down to the hair tips,  Wavy hair is often wavy at the bottom and flat closer to the scalp

People with waves or curls should use a diff-user when blow drying their hair. Diff-users are hairdryer attachments that diffuse the air. As a result, curls are not blown straight or turned to frizz in the drying process. To keep curls tight, a low hairdryer setting is preferable while scrunching hair between fingers and oscillating the dryer. After drying, mousse or pomade can be applied, giving curls and waves body rather than weighing them down. Curls should never be combed or brushed when dry.

Sew In and Locking Human Hair Extensions

Human hairextensions can give you more volume, texture and a completely new look. If you have thin hair, human hair extensions are the answer for a full luxurious head of hair. Women and men with short hair can have long locks with the addition of human hair extensions.
human hair extensions can be styled just like your natural hair and won't mat up. They last longer and when expertly placed are impossible to tell from your natural hair.

Sew In Human Hair Extensions:

Sew in extensions are sewn onto very small tracts of braided hair. Your stylist will section your hair and make very small horizontal or vertical braids close to your scalp. She will then sew the human hair extensions onto the braids. This is a very effective way to place extensions and if properly maintained can last up to eight weeks.

  • The pros for sew in extensions include the ease of placement, long lasting and when placed correctly undetectable. You can wash and style sew in extensions just like your natural hair.
  • The cons may include breakage if the braids are done too tightly, buildup of oil and dirt of you don't wash your hair regularly and it does take some time to braid your hair.

Locking Human Hair Extensions:

Locking extensions are also an effective way to add length and volume to your hair. The extensions are placed in your hair by a process which attaches the wefts to your natural hair and are also completely undetectable if done correctly.

  • The pros to locking extensions include the durability of the process, you can style your extensions along with your natural hair with curling or flat irons, and when properly maintained can last eight weeks or more.
  • The cons to locking human hair extensions may include damage to your natural hair if your stylist is not properly trained and certified, and a buildup of dirt and oil if you don't wash your hair often enough.
Talk to your stylist if you're interested in having sew in or locking extensions. Use only high quality human hair extensions for the best results. Your stylist will give you an expert consultation to determine which type of placement method is best for your hair. Get the hair you always wanted with sew in or locking human hair extensions.

Types of Lace Wigs

The lace wig is usually attached with the assistance of glues and tapes, which are applied to the front hairline area. Once the glue has dried, the front lace portion of the wig is affixed to the area where the glue has been applied on the hairline, creating a tight bond which keeps the lace wig in place on the head. Some lace wigs also have what is referred to as "baby hair" around the temple areas which is used to cover up any visible signs of lace on the forehead, the baby hair also helps to create a realistic hairline. Once applied the lace front wig will usually stay bonded for up to a week.

The makers of lace wigs are not eager to share their trade secrets on how these wigs are actually made. Suffice it to say, lace wigs are prized because of the fact that they look so natural and are made from human hair or are made so well they look like they're made of human hair. There are different kinds lace wigs that work well for different kinds of hair loss.

Full Lace WigsThe full lace wig is one that covers the most of the wearer's head. The full lace wig is made to fit the wearer's head and it can follow the wearer's natural hairline. A nice feature of these wigs is that they can be made with a part and can even be styled.

Lace Front WigsThis lace wig does not cover as much of the wearer's head as a full lace wig. The lace front wig covers the front of the head, and runs from ear to ear. A good feature of this wig is that you can repair it easily. However, it can't be styled as easily as a full lace wig.

Virgin Lace WigThe name refers to the fact that the hair from which the lace wig is made is untreated. The hair is chosen for its quality and color. These wigs cannot be dyed.

Celebrity Lace WigCelebrity lace wigs are designed to look like the hair of famous people. If you wish to have hair like Beyonce, Kimberly J or even Mariah, there's a celebrity lace wig for you.

Custom Full Lace WigThese lace wigs are made carefully to look as natural as possible. According to some makers, they're made to look as though the hair had grown exactly as your own hair would. These lace wigs are often chosen by people who experience hair loss or are undergoing hair-replacement therapy.

Glue In Hair Extension Process

If you are considering having glue in hair extensions then there are some important guidelines and steps that you will need to follow to ensure that you are properly caring for your extensions. This is very important and can also add to the life of your glue in hair extensions.

Achieving the look we always want could be done nowadays. However, you need to do not forget that using hair extensions may either cause you to look more beautiful or otherwise. Extensions don’t simply increase the length of hair as it can also add volume as well. Listed here are the things which you should remember concerning how to manage your glue in hair extensions or glue in hair extensions care prior to deciding to get one:

• Hair extensions can easily be shampooed such as a normal hair. If you’re using an artificial hair extension, some manufacturers will require you, a wig shampoo or perhaps a mild one.

• Some kinds of extensions will recommend a specific type of shampoo. Procedures in brushing, combing and drying it will also be provided. Other hair extensions will also prohibit you in using a dryer.

• Human hair extensions needs to be treated more gently as they are prone to be damaged easily. You will need to use a mild shampoo and decreasing the tangles also requires a light conditioner. To stop matting and excessive tangling you should shampoo it with cool water. Don’t remove the snarls and tangles mainly because it will loosen the foundation of the sealing which will also result in damaging your hair.

• Choose the proper texture along with the same style as your hair when using an artificial extension. It can shorten the lifespan of your artificial hair if you utilize heat to straighten it or make it curly.

When it comes to de-tangling your hair, it will be in your best interest to use a large toothed comb because this will make combing easier. You will however need to avoid trying to comb from the root because this is where your extensions are and you will only be tugging the extensions which can be pretty painful.

If you are using synthetic hair extensions you are going to need to avoid using any heat on your hair because this can cause the hair to melt. But if you are using real human hair extensions then you can blow dry away.

Washing your hair will only cause potential problems. This isn’t too long a time to go without washing your hair unless you want to have to re-do or have the extensions put back in. Also, when you go to bed at night you are going to want to wrap a silk scarf around your hair to help them from rubbing together and being pulled out in addition to avoiding possible tangling.

If you think you can handle glue in hair extensions advice and also the upkeep of using a hair extension, then, now you can go to your salon to have it set up for you. However, if you feel, it’s such a hassle; your money will just be wasted if you cannot handle the responsibilities of caring for your hair extension.

Single and Double Drawn Hair Extensions

Single Drawn Hair:

This hair has been placed in a ponytail or braid and then cut from the donor’s head. At this point the very shortest hairs are removed, (the shortest hairs are “drawn” out, hence the name single drawn). This leaves some hairs that are shorter than the full length giving it a slight tapered, layered look. This makes for easy blending and the most natural look. 95% of all real remy hair is single drawn.

Double Drawn Hair:

This type of hair is all one length. There are no shorter hairs in the extensions like single drawn. All of the short hair has been “drawn” out. Double drawn remy hair is very expensive because so much of the hair is discarded. Because of this very few companies have remy double drawn extensions. The advantage is you always get the length you want without it being too thin at the bottom. A disadvantage is unless you are an expert at cutting with a razor the hair can look doll like and rather fake.

Making Double Drawn Hair is a technique all done by hand where the longest lengths of hair are pulled from the bundle first. If a ponytail’s longest length is 18″, all 18″ hair is removed. The next layer will be 17″ and that is removed. Proceed up the bundle by 1″ lengths until they are taken out and sorted. Making double drawn hair takes more time, more hair, and the result is a more expensive product where all hair will be the same length with no layers or shorter hairs.

Best Manufacturing Process of Virgin Remy Hair Extensions

How Are Remy Hair Extensions Manufactured?

Wigs and hair extensions have a long history, but in the last couple of decades, they've become more popular than ever before. They've become truly mainstream, largely thanks to being worn (and in some cases, endorsed) by actresses, models and other celebrities, leading to a greater interest in these beauty products. If you've been considering trying hair extensions yourself, one term that you've probably come across a lot in your research is Remy. You’re probably wondering how Remy hair extensions are manufactured – but before we answer this question, let’s answer another of the most common questions people ask about hair extensions: namely, what does Remy mean?

Remy Hair Extensions:

The selling of human hair for weaves, wigs, and other hair styling products is an industry that generates hundreds of millions of dollars annually and is growing as a large export economy in some Asian regions, such as India, at a rate of 10-30 percent annually. In India, a large portion of the hair is sourced from Hindu temples where hair is donated for religious practices,  This hair is highly sought out for its 'virgin', untreated qualities, as well as its great length. From there the hair is cleaned and the color is removed before being re-dyed for Euro-centric style tastes.

Remy is a term used in the beauty industry to denote the highest grade of human hair used for hair extensions, wigs and other hairpieces made with natural, rather than synthetic, hair. Remy hair, by and large, comes from Asia, especially India, although some of this human hair is also sourced from Brazil and Russia.

The defining characteristic of Remy hair is that the cuticles (the outer layer of the hair) are all growing in the same direction, which is to say that it’s healthy, undamaged hair which does not tangle easily and that retains its natural shine for a much longer time than lesser grades of human hair which are used to make hair extensions and other hairpieces. Due to the demographics of the part of the world where most of this hair comes from, it generally goes through some kind of processing before being made into Remy hair extensions and packaged for sale at salons or directly to consumers. The hair may be colored, since Remy hair is usually black or very dark brown in color. It may also be processed to change the texture from straight to wavy or even curly, depending on the style of hair extension which the hair is destined for.

It’s important to note that there is some overlap between Remy hair and what is known as Virgin (or completely unprocessed) hair. Consumers should also be aware that since there are no federal regulations in place regarding the labeling of human hair extensions, many less than reputable manufacturers try to pass of low quality, heavily processed or damaged hair as “Remy” hair extensions. If you’re interested in buying Remy hair extensions, it’s a good idea to do some research ahead of time to make sure that what you’re getting is genuinely what you expect in terms of quality, since there are a lot of imitations out there.

Process Of Manufacturing Remy Hair Extensions:

After being collected and processed, if necessary, the rest of the process of manufacturing Remy hair extensions is relatively straight forward. The hair is cut and shaped to the desired length and style, then woven together at the base to provide a single piece which may be worn rather than many individual strands of Remy hair.

Once the piece is completed, it is packaged and sold. Some brands of Remy hair extensions are sold only to licensed beauticians, while others are available to the public from online retailers as well as from brick and mortar stores.

Maintaining Curly and Wavy Extensions

Styling:

  •  Styling: When curls began to look frizzy or dry spray with just water to calm down the hair.  For hair that is more frizzy or beginning to mat, the use of a good quality leave-in  conditioner may be required.
  •  A wet-and-wavy spray can be used in place of a leave-in conditioner, depending on the    condition of the hair.
  •  After applying the water and/or conditioner, gently finger comb and style.
  •  As desired. If the hair begins to lose its shine or look dull, use a light polishing mist.

Washing:

  • For washing, use a mild wig shampoo and wash gently with luke warm water.
  • After rinsing, allow the hair to AIR DRY. Do not finger comb the hair until it has completely dried.

Sleeping/Nightly Care:

  • Cover hair with a satin bonnet.
  • For Wave Patterns: You can also loosely braid or plait the hair to preserve the wavy pattern.  For looser wave (loose deep, body wave) patterns make larger braids, for tighter wave patterns (deep wave) make smaller braids. Be sure to include all of your hair for wave pattern consistency.

BEST HAIR EXTENSIONS FOR SHORT HAIR

Choosing the best hair extensions for short hair may be dependent on several factors, including the length and thickness of your short hair, your natural hair color, and the length you want your hair to be. Hair extensions for short hair should blend in well with your natural hair so that no one is aware you have hair extensions. Many people believe that the trick to perfect blending depends on the type of extensions you choose for your hair and the expertise of your stylist. Before you decide on your own what type of hair extensions you should use, you may want to ask your stylist what he or she would recommend based on your hair type.

Some popular types of hair extensions for short hair are glued on or fused on with heat. Gluing strands of hair to existing short hair can be extremely tedious, but tends to look very natural if the stylist does a good job. It is important to get an experienced stylist to do this for you because one of the biggest mistakes made with gluing hair extensions on is that the glued portions are occasionally obvious if a person has very thin hair. The fusion method may actually be the best for applying hair extensions to short hair because there is no glue to be exposed, but this method does tend to be the most expensive.

If you have very short hair, you may want to avoid weaves or clip-on hair extensions. These types of hair extensions usually work best for people who already have longer hair because the braids required for weaving and the clips from clip-on extensions can typically be disguised with the bulk of existing hair. It may be tempting to try these methods because they tend to be cheaper and clip-on extensions can even be done at home, but the results will likely not be satisfactory on very short hair.

Before you pick out hair extensions for short hair, you need to consider the length and color of your natural hair. If your hair is extremely short, you probably do not need to get very long hair extensions because they might add too much weight to your existing hair. Extensions that reach to your shoulders or slightly below may work better than those that are longer. You also may need to try to pick a color as close to your natural hair as possible. If the color is too far from your natural hair color, the line where your natural hair ends and your extensions begin will likely be quite obvious.

Types of Hair Straighteners

Hair straightening is an art or a hair styling technique that was predominantly used in United States in the mid 1990s and became more popular and a modern fashion technique. It’s a technique which involves the flattening and straightening of hair in order to make it more streamlined, smooth and give a sleek appearance. This can be achieved by many techniques like hair irons, hot combs, ceramic relaxers, hair gel and shampoos.

There are different types of hair straighteners which will serve the purpose of straightening the curly hair without damaging the hair. One has to consider many factors while choosing the hair straighteners that give the best results. Some of the pointers that have to be kept in mind while choosing the hair straighteners are:

• One has to consider the type of hair he/she has.
• Condition of that hair (bad, good, regular, average or poor)
• Usage frequency and the temperature his/her hair can support.

One must be very careful before buying hair straighteners as this might be very instrumental in having the best and sleekly hair that one wishes to have. Hair straighteners differ in sizes, form and additional features. Usually, when selecting a straightener, you should reflect on the occurrence of use. Some of the popular hair straighteners are:

Ceramic Hair straighteners: This works very well and protects you hair from damage too. This helps in managing the frizz. The ceramic plates are capable of evenly distributing the heat making the styling task hassle free. It is also effective in straightening the hair cuticles. This gives long lasting results. This works by breaking down the hair's hydrogen bonds found in the hair's cortex, which cause hair to bend and become curly. Once the bonds are broken, hair is prevented from holding its original, natural form, though the hydrogen bonds can re-form if exposed to moisture.

Chrome Hair straighteners: This is most preferred by women’s across markets as this is relatively inexpensive. This works out fine for those who don’t do this straightening on a daily basis. The heat generated form this may harm the hair, so very good for occasional purposes. Avoid using this if your hair is dry or chemically treated.

Gold hair straighteners: This works out fine for everyday use. It doesn't leave your hair dry and dull. It even eliminates the frizz from your hair. This is more costly than chrome plating however more reasonable than ceramic plating. This is best for normal and thick hair.

Pre-Tipped Hair Extensions

Pre-tipped hair extensions, also known as pre-bonded, are extensions which are manufactured with glue. This glue is applied to the ends of the extensions and becomes sticky with the application of warmth. These extensions are applied by being glued to the existing hair. They generally last three to six weeks with proper care.

There are many ways to add extensions to the hair including sewing, weaving, and gluing them in. If one chooses to have the extensions glued on, the options typically available are using strips of hair wefts and applying the glue separately or warming pre-glued extensions while placing them where desired. Pre-tipped hair extensions are preferred for home applications because they are commonly not as messy.

Generally, pre-tipped hair extensions are available in many natural and unnatural shades. There is also synthetic and natural hair available, and most can be dyed to a particular shade if that shade is not available locally. Lengths vary and can be cut to whatever style necessary once they are applied. It is best not to cut the pre-tipped hair extensions until after they are applied so the cut will complement the existing hair, face, and head shape.

The most common method of applying pre-tipped hair extensions is to separate the hair layer by layer from the nape of the neck up. On each layer, individuals can place the glued end of the extension on the hair about 1/8 to 1/4 inch below the scalp. The glue then needs to be heated using a specialized heating iron or a blow dryer, and pressure needs to be held long enough for the glue to cool and form a strong bond. Care instructions vary based on the type of extension.

Each type of pre-tipped hair extensions has pros and cons. Synthetic hair may not be very easy to dye or style, depending on what it is made of, but it is usually less expensive than natural hair. Extensions made of natural hair may cost more, but are a bit easier to care for, style, and dye. The biggest considerations are the quality of the hair and glue and whether or not they will do more harm than good. Removal of extensions may strip the hair and cause damage, so it is important for individuals to consider this before taking the plunge.

Select your Best Curly Hair Weft

A weft is like a grass-skirt equivalent of hair extensions, consisting of a long strip of material from which many strands of hair hang. Wefts can be attached to the hair by clips or bonding or by being sewn in. They come in all types of hair, including curly styles. When choosing the best curly hair weft, type of hair, degree of curl, color, and length are all choices you have to consider. If you are having your hair done at a salon, the stylist my help you make the best decision.

First, you must choose whether you want your curly hair weft to be made from real or synthetic hair. Real hair looks the most natural but can also come with a hefty price tag. If price is not an issue, real hair is the best choice as it can be restyled and colored and does not tangle or become frizzy the way synthetic hair can. Real human hair also hold its curl, whereas synthetic hair may relax over time.

The degree of curl is also important when choosing a curly hair weft. You should choose a curl that is similar to your own natural hair. Wefts are available in a range of curl styles, from very tight corkscrew curls to longer, looser styles. This is not such an issue if you are choosing to have an all-over weft that is sewn in because all of your natural hair will be braided up as a base for the weft. Only the weft hair is visible in the end result.

The color you choose is based on whether you want a natural look. If you want to add a splash of color to your curls,  For the weft to look natural, choose a color that is as close to your natural hair as possible. This is not as important with a curly hair weft as a straight one as the curls will wrap around and blend with your own, making the color difference less noticeable. To see how your choice will look with your hair, stand in natural light with a weft swatch and compare.

Like color, the length of the curly hair weft is not as important as it is with straight hair curls help the hair to blend in better. It is better to bond or clip a weft in when your hair is around shoulder length because this will make longer wefts look much more natural. If you are going mainly for volume, then choose a length that is close to that of your natural hair. Length can be added in graduated layers, but be careful because this can also make hair look quite bushy. With any extensions.

Color Your Hair Extensions

An easy way to add length and volume to your hair and change your look is to use hair extensions. A lot of women are opting to get hair extensions to improve their looks. Hair extensions though, can be very expensive especially if done in salons. The colors available are also limited but the good news is that you can color your hair extensions safely.

If you want to color your hair extensions, make sure that you buy only those that are made from natural hair. Synthetic hair cannot be dyed as it is made from nylon or polyester. Human hair can be dyed pretty much the same way you dye your own hair, which means that the process is not only similar, but that you can also use different types of hair color for dyeing.

If you buy a box of color from a drugstore,  A box of color will already include a developer, applicator bottle and a pair of gloves for protection.

1.     You may have some experience in dyeing your hair, but you still need to test a strand of the hair extension before you start the dye job. This is because the hair used in the extension may react differently. Take a small group of strands of the hair extension and clip it to separate it from the rest of hair. Mix half a spoon of dye and half a spoon of developer application and apply the mixture with gloves on. Wait for some time as specified in the instructions that come with the bottle and rinse the hair to see the effect.

2.     Before you start to color your hair extension, Before you color your hair, comb and untangle it. Pay particular importance to this because even a small tangle will result in uneven coloring of that portion of the hair extension and will look odd when you wear it. Also make sure there are no styling products on to the hair extension before coloring it. Shampoo the hair extension to remove styling products (if any) and let it dry on a towel. Use an old towel, as this one is going to get stained when you are through.

3.     Apply color evenly to each strand. After you've applied the hair color, put it on top of a towel and let it dry. Refer to the coloring box for instructions on how long you should wait before you rinse out.

4.     Use warm water and rinse thoroughly to remove the hair color. Apply conditioner and let it remain for three minutes before you rinse again. A conditioner is usually included in a coloring box.

5.     Use a wide-toothed comb to gently untangle the extension while it is still wet.

Hand-tied and Machine-tied Lace Front Wig

Hand-tied hair lace front wig is created by knotting the hair strands onto the wig cap with hands. This special and thorough knotting results in exceptional natural look of the lace front. This is usually the process involved in creating the human hair lace front and other lace front wigs. Hand-tied lace hair units are fitted onto the wig cap in a stylish loose manner, so that the hair falls in very natural looking manner and results in an undetectable look.

When human hair lace front wig is parted while having it on, it looks exactly as real strands of hair growing out from your natural scalp. Since special effort, time and technique are applied in creating human hair lace front, it usually comes with a higher price tag when compared with synthetic or machine-knotted hair. Besides, the quality of the hair itself adds to the price.

Machine-tied lace front often integrates weft of hair, which is stitched to the cap of the wig with machine. This process is common with synthetic wig production. Synthetic lace wigs come with low prices and are common. Applying heat styling to synthetic hair exposes it to damage; thus, it is not easy to come forth with versatile styling/styles when synthetic hair is involved. However, synthetic hair has greatly improved nowadays, and is more manageable in terms of enhanced styling.

Whether you choose human hair or synthetic hair lace front wig, there are wide range of styles you can wear; they include ponytail, wavy and straight styles, and you can comb the hair all back to fall beautifully down your shoulders. You can also use lace wig accessories such as hair clips and bands to hold the hair beautifully.
