Pay particular importance to this because even a small tangle will result in uneven coloring of that portion of the hair extension and will look odd when you wear it. 3.     Apply color evenly to each strand. After you've applied the hair color, put it on top of a towel and let it dry. Refer to the coloring box for instructions on how long you should wait before you rinse out.

4.     Use warm water and rinse thoroughly to remove the hair color. Apply conditioner and let it remain for three minutes before you rinse again. A conditioner is usually included in a coloring box.

5.     Use a wide-toothed comb to gently untangle the extension while it is still wet.

1.) Wash your extensions. Gently! Your fake hair soaks up oils made by your head naturally. This can make your extensions greasy and fibers may fall out. To wash them, soak it in warm water in the bathroom sink. Cover them with a clarifying shampoo and rinse out with cold water. 2.) Keep them moisturized, especially when you style extensions often. When your extensions are dry, comb a little bit of leave-in conditioner evenly. Don't overdo it because they'll become greasy easier than your natural locks.

4.) Only use stylers when your extensions are dry. Never blow dry extensions. You can always put them in when the rest of your hair is dry. If necessary, curl and straighten extensions for about half the time it takes the rest of your hair. Put them on your head when you're done styling your natural hair. Sewing Procedure Of Hair Extensions

There are several ways to add extensions to the hair. One common way is sewing. To sew hair extensions, you will need to know how to braid or to have someone available who can. You will also need thread and a special needle that can generally be purchased at beauty supply stores.

Before you sew hair extensions into your hair, it is best to wash your hair. Having a clean scalp is important because it can reduce or eliminate intense itching you may otherwise experience. It is important for the hair to be clean; if it is soiled with products such as hair spray or gel it may not be very manageable. After you wash the hair, be sure to dry it, otherwise it may begin to smell bad after you sew hair extensions into it.

To sew hair extensions effectively, you need something to attach them to. In most instances, this is going to be a braid. You will need to cornrow braid the areas of the hair where you want to put the hair extensions. It is best to make the braids skinny and to place them fairly close together. When the braids are skinny, this prevents a look of bulkiness. When the braids are spaced close together, you will be able to overlap the extensions in a manner that looks more natural.

When braiding the hair, it is also important to consider the style you hope to achieve when you are finished. In some instances it may be suitable to cornrow braid the hair from front to back. You need to continue sewing the thread through the extension’s track and your braid until you reach the end of a row.

If your extensions continue past your braid, when you come to the end of the braid, you must cut your extensions. Then you will need to cut the thread, but before you do, you need to sew a tight knot at the end of the row that will prevent the thread from unraveling. Then, cut any dangling thread and proceed to the next row until you have finished sewing in your hair extensions.
